HEOP and SSS are proud of our students’ accomplishments in the classroom, research, and beyond. This can range from a variety of activities including campus involvement/community service, study abroad, design/creativity/the arts, internships/summer jobs, social justice/activism/civic engagement, or creative problem solving in a virtual world.
Alberlyn Dejesus, Class of 2022

Alberlyn is completing a spring internship with Syracuse Police Department. A generous alum donated funds to support this new endeavor for students interested in making a difference in the Syracuse community. The student will be learning about the SCPD through participation in community outreach programs and events, and then contributing to developing communication materials to support the branding initiative of the department. This will include assisting with press releases, creating content for social media sites and supporting media relations.
